Definition of Terms

The following terms are hereby stipulated to give the readers a clear understanding of the study.

(Household) Parents - one that begets or brings forth offspring up and cares for another; father or a
mother.
- As applied to the research, they possess the most knowledge and
comprehension of a child's physical, social, developmental and family history.
Barangay Canlapwas – one of the Barangay in Catbalogan City.
- As applied to the research, the place where the study will be conducted.
Profile - a short description of someone or something that
gives important and useful details about them
- As applied to the research, the profile survey gives the researchers a chance
to become acquainted with the respondent and to gauge how they will
respond to the survey sheet.
