We should like to thank our lecturer

and guide
Prof. R.P.Polampalli because of their constant
guidance we are able to complete our Micro –
project successfully within the time limit. We are
also thankful, to our all- group members to
enhance their own ideas to help\support us for
project. It was an enthusiastic support and
atmosphere that made us sustain from motivation
during the completion of our project in this
atmosphere due to pandemic. Even though we
were unable to meet in person we were able to
contact each other virtually through technology.
Thus, technology has been a source of great help.
We would also like to thank the principal, himself
has been source of motivation and
encouragement.
Finally, we are also thankful to our Mechanical
Department has always been supportive
whenever we needed help and we also thank our
classmates who have helped us.
Model of Air Compressor

 Information of Model :

 Motor : 500 rpm , 12 volt DC Gear Moter

 Battery : 9 volt Battery , on/off switch

 Injection: It is used to make piston which

compress the air

 2 Valve: For on/off Air

 Tube: 1.5 feet tube for supply air

 Cycle Rim : used as crank rod to move piston

forward And backword

 Plywood: to hold all project.

Working of model :

When we turn on switch the battery supply the

electricity to gear motor. The gear motor starts
rotating and supply the mechanical energy to
injection with the help of connecting rod.
Injection works as Air compressors work by
forcing injection under air pressure to create
potential energy that can be stored in a tank for
later use. Just like an open balloon, the pressure
builds up when the compressed air is deliberately
released, converting the potential energy into
usable kinetic energy. Then tube supply the air to
the working point with the help of on/off valve.
 Advantages :

 They are very versatile and can handle a wide

range of pressures and flows.
 They are relatively simple and easy to
maintain.
 They can be used in a wide range of
applications including refrigeration, air
conditioning, and gas compression.

 Disadvantages :

 They can be noisy and require a lot of space.

 They have a high initial cost compared to
other types of compressors.
 They are not suitable for continuous
operation and may require frequent
maintenance.
 Applications:

 Dental clinics
 Construction
 Hospital Equipment
 Mattress
 Agriculture
 Mining Industry
 Space
 Flights
 To fix the fracture
 Woodwork
 Conclusion;

During 5th semester training period, a lot of

experience, knowledge and exposure that I
have handy . All disclosures were awaken
myself in a boost of self-confidence to face
life more challenging now. Practical is a
complement to the science or theory learned.
This is clearly the concept of science and
charity, where they have learned without
practice will be lost and will not give anything
– what effect. So if we do without the
knowledge of course there will be problems in
terms of grip and stance ever changing.During
my industrial training, there are many
changes from he point of learning
environments and discussion among
colleagues. It can directly increase the
dedication and rational attitude toward
myself.
