INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

PRODUCT CONTENTS AND ASSEMBLY INFORMATION. PLEASE REVIEW


ALL PARTS INCLUDED AND READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY TO
FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH PRODUCT AND ASSEMBLY.

ATTENTION!
THIS ROOFTOP CARGO BASKET IS DEIGNED TO FIT A WIDE VARIETY
OF ROOF CROSS BARS. BEFORE USING THE CARGO BASKET,
ENSURE THAT ALL CARGO BASKET MOUNTING BRACKETS ARE
SECURELY ATTACHED TO YOUR VEHICLE CROSS BARS.
PERIODICALLY CHECK TO ENSURE ALL KNOBS AND SCREWS ARE
TIGHT AND SECURE. REMOVE THE CARGO BASKET WHEN NOT IN
USE.

MAXIMUM LOAD FOR THIS CARGO BASKET IS 150LBS

REVIEW AND COMPLY WITH ALL LOCAL LAWS REGARDING ROOF


RACKS.

BEFORE BEGINNING CARGO BASKET ASSEMBLY, IT IS BEST PRACTICE


TO USE BLACK SILICONE SEALANT (INCLUDED) ON ALL BASKET
ASSEMBLY CONNECTIONS/JUNCTIONS, SCREW CONNECTIONS,
AROUND THE END CAPS AND ALL WELD POINTS TO PREVENT
RUSTING FROM RAIN AND MOISTURE

1 BASKET ASSEMBLY
CAUTION: ASSEMBLE CARGO BASKET ON GROUND LEVEL. ENSURE TO
APPLY INCLUDED SEALANT ALL CARGO BASKET POINTS MENTIONED
IN FIRST SECTION.

Step 1: Connect the two basket extensions together (part 2).


Step 2: Connect the front (part 3) and rear (part 1) portion of the basket to the
basket extension (part 2).
Step 3: Attach the four side fairings (part 4), align fairing holes with threaded
holes on basket.
Step 4: Secure the total assembly with the provided 16mm machine screws
(part 7).
Step 5: Attach rear fairing (part 13) to basket and assemble using machine
screw (part 7) and wing nut (part 14).

2 FAIRING ASSEMBLY
Install the top and bottom clips to the top and bottom tubes of the rack.
Bottom clips have larger opening than top clips to accomodate larger
bottom tube.

3 FAIRING ASSEMBLY
Attach and assemble fairing to the mounting clips.
Place spacer tube (part 11) between bottom clip and fairing and attach
using 35mm screw (part 8) and nut (part 6), leave loose for adjustment. Use
16mm screw (part 7) and nut to connect top clip, leave loose. Center the
fairing then securely tighten all screws.

4 ATTACHING ASSEMBLED
CARGO BASKET TO VEHICLE CROSS BAR
CAUTION: REQUIRES TWO PEOPLE TO INSTALL ONTO VEHICLE AND USE
STABLE LADDERS.

Step 1: Measure and confirm the placement of how the basket will sit on the
vehicle crossbars.
Step 2: Attach the four plastic mounting saddles to the basket crossbars in the
area determined in step 1 above, they will snap into place upon installing.
Step 3: Place basket on top of the vehicle crossbars, make sure plastic saddles
are properly sitting on vehicle crossbars.
Step 4: Slide u-bolt from the underside through the plastic saddles, place metal
mounting bracket plate on top of basket crossbars and attach using wing
nuts and firmly tighten evenly. Repeat for remaining three mounting
brackets.
