EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS
It is with pleasure that I write to announce the following Executive Appointments:
Nontokozo Karemba
Group Head of Audit
Nontokozo has been appointed the Group Head of Audit
for OK Zimbabwe Limited effective 1 January 2023. She is
a qualified Chartered Accountant (Zimbabwe) and holds a
Master’s in Business Leadership (MBL) from the University
of South Africa. She has over 19 years’ working
experience in auditing, risk management and advisory
services, having started her career with Deloitte, an
international auditing and advisory firm. She worked for
Deloitte for over 9 years from trainee to senior manager level, during which time she also
had the opportunity of being seconded to the organisation’s international offices in Canada,
United Kingdom and the USA.
Nontokozo held the position of Audit and Assurance Executive for 8 years at Nedbank
Zimbabwe, the subsidiary of a regional financial services group in Southern Africa. She
subsequently became Head of Audit for CBZ Bank for 2 years, where she was exposed to
several businesses across the financial services sector that are a part of the CBZ Group.
Mahomed L.G. Khan
Security and Loss Control Manager
Mahomed has been appointed to the position of Security
and Loss Control Manager, effective 1 January 2023. The
position reports to the Human Resources Director.
Mahomed joins OK Zimbabwe Limited from Lafarge
Cement Zimbabwe where he was the Country Security
Manager since 2016. Prior to joining Lafarge, he worked in
Government security establishments in Zimbabwe
including the Zimbabwe Republic Police and the Office of the President and Cabinet. Upon
his retirement from Government in 2004, Mahomed worked in security and commercial roles
in various other countries including South Africa, the Gulf of Mexico, Scotland, Ghana, Abu
Dhabi and United Arab Emirates.
Mahomed possesses impressive academic and professional qualifications which include
Arabic Language Studies from the University of Jordan, a Certificate in Defence, Security
Management and Civil Military Relations (University of Witwatersrand), Diploma in Business
Management from the College of Professional Management and numerous other
certifications in security, safety, sports, drone technology, and snake handling.
Juliet Chiwara
Appointment as Human Resources Business Partner
Juliet has been appointed to the position of Human Resources Business Partner, effective 1 January 2023. The position reports to the Human
Resources Director. Prior to joining OK Zimbabwe Limited, Juliet was a Human Resources Officer – Operations at Delta Beverages. Juliet’s academic
qualifications include a Bcom in Business Management and Industrial Relations and Bcom (Hons) in Business Management from the University of
Fort Hare. She also holds a MBA from the Women’s University in Africa.

Forget Toruvanda
Head ICT Operations
Forget joined OK Zimbabwe on 1 December 2022 as
Head ICT Operations and reports to the ICT Director. He
is a holder of a Business Studies and Computing Science
(BBSCT) degree, which he obtained from the University
of Zimbabwe in 2010. He also holds a Master of Business
Administration (MBA) from the same University and a
Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics.
Forget is certified in TOGAF 9.1, ITIL Service Management, Oracle (OCA and OCP),
Microsoft (AI/ML, MCTS and Cloud) as well as CompTIA Security +.
He joined OK Zimbabwe Limited from Sasai Fintech, a subsidiary of Econet where he was
the Head of Service Delivery, Infrastructure and Support. He worked on various projects
which he oversaw from initiation to completion. These include POS system stabilisation,
Application Performance Monitoring, Disaster Recovery Set Up and Testing, System
Implementation, IT Cost optimisation, IT Infrastructure optimisation, System upgrades and
Cloud migration to mention but a few. Forget brings a lot of experience to the organisation.
Sukoluhle (Sue) Nkala
Projects and Technical Executive
Sue has been appointed Projects and Technical
Executive, effective 1 December 2022. With this new role,
she transitions from her previous position as a Project
Management Consultant.
Sue has over 14 years’ experience in planning and
implementing Infrastructure/Capital Expenditure (Capex)
projects across a myriad of different industries and
sectors. Having gained most of her experience in South Africa, she has held several
technical leadership roles and led key strategic projects for various companies which include
Eskom, Telkom, ABSA, and the Gautrain, to mention but a few. Locally, she has provided
her services to Kuva and Palmline Investments.
Her impressive academic and professional background includes a Cum Laude for her
undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the Cape Peninsula University of
Technology in Cape Town. Sue holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration
(PDBA) and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Pretoria in
South Africa. Further, she is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2
Practitioner, and Agile Project Management (AgilePM) Practitioner.
