Establishments Very Frequent Frequent Moderate Seldom Never

SM MALLS
BDO
SAVEMORE
ALFAMART

1. What are the usual things you do whenever you go to the places menoned above?
- First on the list is SM MALLS, where I/we normally go when we need things, want to buy
something for myself, dine and explore new restaurants, pay bills, and create memories with
my loved ones/family. Second, when I need to withdraw money or check my savings, my
mother and I normally go to BDO. Third, SAVE MORE by purchasing items for our home or
refilling foods so that we do not have to go every day outdoors. Finally, I rarely visit
ALFAMART because my preferred convenience store is Seven Eleven.

2. Do you have any idea why these establishments are successful?

- I'm not sure how they became successful, but the only way to be successful is to risk your
own principles and follow the proper route in your principles because you're learning and
growing outside of your comfort zone. So, keep striving and show your dedicaon to your
goals.

Pre-Lesson Quesons:

What is principle?

- In my perspecve principles are necessary for direcng our acons, decisions, and relaonships.
They act as a guidepost, presenng us with a set of universally accepted values that allow us to
disnguish between what is right and wrong. Principles are ageless, universal, and essenal in
sustaining our acts' integrity and consistency. They promote trust, cooperaon, and societal
stability, laying the groundwork for a just and peaceful society.

Is this important? Why or why not?

- When contemplang the influence on individuals, communies, and society, the importance of
principles cannot be emphasized. Principles serve as guiding factors in personal integrity, ethical
decision-making, social cohesion, and effecve governance. Individuals and sociees can seek to
build a beter world by adhering to ideals that uphold the values of honesty, jusce, and respect
for all. As a result, principles should be treasured and respected since they provide the
framework for individuals to live meaningful and purpose-driven lives while also creang a just
and harmonious community.
Reflecon:

1. Out of Henry Sy’s 14 life principles, which one do you like best, or you were able to relate the
most? Why?
- One of the things I liked in Henry Sy's 14 principles is the recognize opportunity because I
believe that opportunity will pull us towards the dreams we achieve and I want to relate it to
my father's life where my father used to study at Adamson University, but he was supposed
to graduate for one term, but he was unable to connue. now my father has a business that
is also connected to structural and other stainless equipment so here I saw that if there are
opportunies that come and we will have experience, with different knowledge let's take it
as the beginning of the new journey of our lives.

2. Do you think you can apply some or all Sy’s life principles to your own personal and professional
life? If yes, how? If no, why?
- I think I can apply Henry's other principles because we have different principles in life that
we know how to work beter, so for me, applying his principles is yes and no. and if I apply it
to my professional life if I become a licensed architect, maybe his principles will help me to
grow and clarify my vision of the world we live in.

3. If you will add 1 more to Sy’s life Principles to make it 15, what will it be?
- “Mistakes are sll Progress.”

4. How about you, what are your life principles? Explain

- My principles in life are of course the people who believe in me, in my abilies because they
boost me so that I can handle something that I face, and they believe that I can improve it.
Second, when I give my best or my effort in a task, I know that all my fague and my
experience in something will pay off. Finally, of course, happiness is even though my future is
difficult and there are heavy feelings. I sll want to be happy. I mean I want to enjoy the life
that I have.

5. How do you define success? How can A person say he/she is successful?
- For me, success is not only about being rich or that you have risen from hardship. For me, a
success is something that has been learned or been educated, as if success is a person who
has a brain, can keep up, knows how to be disciplined, doesn't rush things. saying Here I see
a success in that they can apply their own experiences, learn and share with the cizens.
