Personal code of ethics
My following code of ethics is based on 7 principles, which I have applied
throughout my life because since I was little my parents formed me that way and
that is how I will continue to be, it is also based on some principles that I have
adopted over time or that in the future I would like to adopt in order to become a
better person.

1 Respect others. - We all deserve respect.

My life has always been based on respecting others as long as they respect me
too, respect is something that we all deserve that is why I always tend to be
respectful with my parents, my relatives and even with strangers, for me the
Respect is something equitable, it does not matter if you are a person who has a
disability, I have always considered that respect is something that we all deserve
regardless of our gender, race, skin color, religion, or economic situation, that is
why every day I base myself on respecting others.

2 Be responsible. - Responsibility is the basis for success.

For me, responsibility is something that I considered essential in my life since
responsibility allows us to create values and likewise helps us to direct the reins of
our life, because I have always considered that being a responsible person helps
us to be more autonomous and thus, being able to assume the consequences of
our actions, in addition to being responsible, helps us to gain the trust of others.

3 Help others. - Be supportive.

In my life I have always thought that we should help the people who need it the
most, because likewise we could be in that bad situation, that is why helping others
is included within this code of ethics since my parents instilled it in me, helping
others does not take anything away, on the contrary, I consider that it helps us to
develop goodness in life. Helping others makes us a generous person at heart, a
joyful and happy person.

4 Believe in yourself. - You are the most important opinion in your

life.
I consider that believing in yourself is one of the most important things in life,
believing in ourselves means believing that we can fulfill our dreams, believing that
we can achieve what we always wanted because with the passage of time in our
life we will find many people who will tell us negative things about something we
want to achieve, and sometimes we can become disappointed and begin to believe
that we will not become someone in life, or that we will not be able to achieve our
dreams in the future, for me it is always important to know that the only opinion that
should interest me is my own, not to be influenced by people around me and
always try my best to achieve what I want, regardless of whether others do not
believe in me.

5 Be honest. - Always show clarity to others.

This principle is based on being an honest person free from lies and falsehoods,
more than anything this principle would apply both in personal and professional life
when leaving university since we must always tell the truth since telling a lie could
affect the course of our lives, honesty in my life is considered a basic pillar
because I consider that it allows us to increase our confidence in ourselves and
leads us on the path of what is really correct with our conscience always clear.

6 Be humble. - Not feeling more than anyone, we are all exactly

the same.
Never humiliate others or believe yourself more than someone because of their
economic position, their intelligence or their abilities, in this life we are all the same
and we do not deserve to be treated in an inferior way, it is also very important to
know that humility leads us to acceptance of our defects, weaknesses and
limitations, having this complete vision of oneself, strengthens our self-concept and
in this way, we correctly value ourselves and others.

7 Aspire to success. - Never settle for the bare minimum.

In my life since I was little, my parents taught me that the basis for success is
always to take steps forward and never look back, that is why I believe that we
should always aspire to more than we want, propose considerable goals and
always try to fulfill them, never give up, be aware that we can achieve it by
believing in ourselves, never stay stagnant, nor follow in someone else's footsteps,
just focus on yourself, on what you want to achieve with all your soul and dedicate
a lot of effort to it.
Basically, this is my personal code of ethics, which I plan to apply throughout my
life, both now as a student, as well as in the future when I become an Industrial
Engineer, I hope over time I can add more principles to my code of ethics to be
able to become a good person in life and to fulfill my goals based on those
principles.
