The Ethics of Life and Discrimination

The Philosophy of life

Many major historical figures in philosophy have provided an answer to the question of
what, if anything, makes life meaningful, although they typically have not put it in these
terms (with such talk having arisen only in the past 250 years or so, on which see Landau
1997). Consider, for instance, Aristotle on the human function, Aquinas on the beatific
vision, and Kant on the highest good. There is in the making a sub-field of applied meaning
that parallels applied ethics, in which meaningfulness is considered in the context of
particular cases or specific themes(Levy,2005)

Nothing gives an individual a sense of purpose in the world like having a clear-cut
philosophy of life. In order to figure it out, you need to understand what you want out of
life. Although it seems simple, it actually can be pretty tricky for many people to crack it
accurately. The first thing you need to do, dear folks, is to introspect yourselves. This is
what I did after my graduation, to figure out a profession that would appeal to me the most.
Without introspection, you will not be able to discover your life philosophy as it’s not
something that can be outsourced. Think and go through your beliefs, views, preferences,
dislikes, and strategies(Bennett and Coleman,2023). Some people may make some notes,
although it refrained from such acts to avoid overcomplicating the process.

Ethical life is the Idea of freedom in that on the one hand it is the good become alive. The
good endowed in self-consciousness with knowing and willing and actualised by self-
conscious action ,while on the other hand self-consciousness has in the ethical realm its
absolute foundation and the end which actuates its effort. Thus ethical life is the concept of
freedom developed into the existing world and the nature of self-consciousness
(Marxist,2008).

Philosopical of Life
Arguably, if you live your life out of the love of wisdom, both in thought and action and
desire or emotion (‘love’ being a desire or emotion), you are living a philosophical life even
if you have never heard of the term ‘philosophy’ or attended any course in
philosophy(stolaf,2023).

In life is short, Rickles explains why the finiteness and shortness of life is the essence of
its meaning and how this insight is the key to making the most of the time we do have
(Rickles,2023). Like in the discussion in philosophy it's not good to die when you haven't
tasted good things in your life.
