This milestone requires students to meet with their teacher in week 9 to discuss their project's progress. During the meeting, students should introduce their project's aims, describe the skills and knowledge they have gained, and provide a 60-70% implementation of the product along with plans for remaining work. The teacher will grade students on clearly outlining team member roles, describing acquired skills, and the level of implementation completed.

After the preliminary report, students should identify and experiment with the theory, tools, and technologies that are needed to achieve the goals of the project. This step is crucial to acquire confidence in the conceptual and technical backgroundthat is needed to develop the project. In addition, new potential risks might be identified, and the project may have to be updated accordingly. This milestone is a meeting with the teacher in week 9. During the meeting, the student should start describing the project as follows: 1. Introduction and aims/challenges of the project. 2. Description of the skills the student has acquired so far to full the project stated in the preliminary report. 3. A detailed specification and design of the core functionality of the project and a detailed description of what the project is supposed to provide. 4. A clear description of the progress that has been made towards the project objectives, discussing the artifacts that have been developed (e.g., a website design,a partial implementation, views generated by some tool). 5. 60-70% implementation of your product. 6. Plan and work that remains to be done.
