    ASSIGNMENT NO. 13
    QUESTION 1

    You are required to draw a cross section of the following structural steel sections:

    178 x 102 x 19kg/m I-Section (parallel flange) and 150 x 90 x 12 Angle section (unequal leg) You must
    obtain the dimensions of the sections from Table 5.1 in your prescribed textbook, Drawing for Civil
    Engineering.

    The sections must be drawn at a scale of 1:1.

    You may round up any of the decimals of the dimensions in the table to the nearest whole number. You
    also may use a circle template, instead of a compass, for the radii that are indicated on the section.

    The drawing must be done, and it will be assessed, in accordance with the proper drawing standards,
    viz. neatness, line quality, texting, etc.
