Figure 1 below shows a reinforced concrete floor layout for a multi-storey building. You
are required to detail and schedule the 350 x 600 simply-supported beam on grid line A.
Use a horizontal scale of 1:20 and a vertical scale of 1:10 for the elevation and a scale of
1:5 for the section

Figure 2 below shows the reinforcement as designed by the structural engineer. Please
also take note of the following:

 Concrete strength/class is 30 MPa

 Concrete cover to the reinforcement is 30mm.
