insurance plan for your family. Here are some things to keep in mind
while you go ahead with your purchase.
Did you read the policy document, wordings, terms & conditions thoroughly
before making the payment?
Make sure you understand every minor detail, if in doubt ask your financial
advisor
Did you enter accurate personal details while filling the proposal form?
Even minor discrepancies with respect to pin-codes or occupation could cause
issues later.
Did you get a detailed medical history of you and your family?
Include every symptom, diagnosis, treatment, and surgery throughout the
lifetime, to the best of your knowledge. Even if they're completely cured.
Did you provide a detailed medical history to the insurer, along with
supporting documents, medical tests wherever required?
Incorrect or incomplete declarations could put your family’s claim in
jeopardy.
Did you put the standing instructions on your primary bank account?
Avoid credit/ debit cards for standing instructions to reduce the risk of
lapses because of payment delays when the card expires

calculation before deciding on the type of Limited Pay?

Did you make a copy of all the documents you submitted to the
insurer, for your records?
Including the policy proposal form (you can ask for it from the insurer),
medical declarations, etc
Did you take your family and nominees through the policy document, brochure, all
the terms & conditions thoroughly?
