ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT

Title of the Activity: PARENTS TEACHER MEETING

Date: September 22, 2023

Venue: SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL BLDGS, CAN-AVID NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Objectives of the Activity

1. To disseminate school policies such as wearing school uniforms, school ID, class
schedule, attendance and punctuality.
2. To reiterate the grading system of Senior High School.
3. To strengthen parents involvement in school or encourage them to be involved in the
school’s projects for the convenience of students.
4. To elect Homeroom PTA Officers for the School Year 2023-2024 from among the
senior high school classes.
5. To inform parents about the needs of students in their respective classrooms and
suggest classroom projects
Highlights of the Activity:
All classroom advisers in Senior High School department conducted a PTA meeting
on September 22, 2023 at exactly 8 AM. It started with a prayer in every classroom followed
by checking of attendance. Parents attendance forms were provided. The agenda of the
meeting were presented and classroom adviser has assigned someone to take the minutes
of the meeting. The discussion started following the agenda that were presented
beforehand. School policies such as wearing school uniforms, school ID, class schedule,
attendance and punctuality were discussed. The classroom advisers presented the parents
of the SHS grading system for students. How the grading system works and what the grades
mean were clearly explained. It was emphasized that effective collaboration and
communication between parents, teachers, and students is crucial for the success of
classroom activities. Both parties agreed to establish open lines of communication to foster a
healthy learning environment.
Each classroom adviser elucidated the role of Parent-Teacher Associations in
helping their students succeed in school. After which, Homeroom PTA Officers for the
School Year 2023-2024 were organized from among the Senior High School classes by
conducting election. Lastly, special concerns about students needs in the classroom were
discussed and it ended up with raising fund from HPTA for classroom project that optimize
students learning to include donating in kind as floorwax for classroom maintenance, project
lababo(lavatory) and ceiling fans.

Result/ Output::

The Homeroom Parents-Teachers meeting has underscored the significance of

promoting parent-teacher collaboration. The successful activity will guide future activities in
the classroom to enhance the overall educational experience for all the Senior High School
students.
