MINUTES ON THE CONDUCT OF

FIRST GENERAL PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE
S.Y. 2022-2023

I. Introduction

The parent-teacher conference hopes to help parents and guardians adjust to the new educational set-

up and realize how big of a role they are going to play in their children’s education during this time of

pandemic. SPIS assures parents that it is continuously seeking and providing means to address the demands

and challenges of the New Normal.

II. Objectives

The activities aim to:

 present the school’s achievements and accomplishments

 report the academic performance of the students per subject

 report the monthly and yearly budget

 report the number transferred in and out, dropouts

 report the renovations and repairs made in the school infrastructures and facilities

 give recognition to the LGU and stakeholders

 student’s uniform

III. Activity Proper

The well planned First General PTA Meeting by the principal in a person of Mrs. Mylene B. Bathan were

conducted last August 12, 2022. The different committees worked together to prepare for the important

event.

Before the first semester started for the school year 2022-2023, the school held a homeroom PTA meeting.

School must have a link cooperation with the community to achieve the goal set by the Department of

Education. It was very important for the parents to attend with this kind of meeting for they will know the

new rules and regulations of the school. Last August 12, 2022, our dear Sampa-Pacifico Integrated School

held its 1st PTA Conference. The meeting started at 9:00 in the morning. Before the meeting, the parents

were asked to sign on the attendance sheet and got their contact numbers.

This school activity had objectives to provide information about progress and development for the past

previous year. School Head, Master Teachers and the teachers conducted conference to determine and plan

the said program. They emphasize on the flow of the program and the transition for SOSA and Classroom

PTA. The Supreme Student Government and SPG are requested to assist the said program for smooth

process and to sustain peace and order during the event

The principal and the advisers discuss various agenda such as attendance, behavior and culture of learners,

waste management and so on.

At exactly 8:00 in the morning the meeting officially started with a prayer and followed immediately by a

welcome remarks by Mrs. Mylene B. Bathan, principal II of the institution, and discussed the recent

situation of the school with regard to participation rate/ numbers of enrolment for three consecutive years

she pointed out that there is remarkable increased. She stated also the number of teachers per grade level

area and their professional growth. Mrs. Bathan also showcases the different improvement on the school for

three consecutive years as per achievement level of learners also the instructional materials.

One of the highlights of meeting was the achievements that make the institution proud of. Mrs. Bathan

mentions learners and teachers that perform remarkable in their respective field, academically and sports.

She also presented to the supportive parents the new innovation that was constructed this year which is the

new facilities. She elaborates some school policy and regulations for better comprehension. An open forum

initiated also by Mrs. Bathan to entertain queries and suggestion by the different concern parents.

Over all the First GPTA Assembly was successfully conducted this were evidently because objectives and

purposes of the said program was efficiently achieved.
