Welcome & About the Clinic
Welcome to the Sinha Clinic. We look forward to having you on the team. This manual will help teach you everything you need to know

Neurofeedback Technician Role
This position would be best suited for a licensed mental health professional, graduate student, or recent masters level graduate in the
field of psychology, mental health, or behavioral science. Experience as an EEG technician, ABRET certified EEG technician, or
applicant licensed/certified in nursing, medical assistant, or other healthcare field is preferred. This position is part-time (variable 10-
hours) with a flexible schedule. Patient age groups are students between the ages of approximately 5-17, adult, and geriatric
population.
Training includes:
Modules - Self-Study
Training consists of setting up patients with 10-20 electrode placement and neurofeedback protocols, as well as, setting up for qEEG
“brain mapping” patients. Evening and weekend hours will usually be required during the school year. We work with a wide variety of
patients seeking neurofeedback training and will need a motivated individual who is compassionate, self-motivated and adept at
maintaining accurate patient records.
Duties Assigned:
● Maintain cleanliness and supplies in each neurofeedback room. Set up prior to the arrival of patient.
● Evaluate patients quickly each visit with patient or parent regarding changes in behavior or concerns from previous session.
● Inquire about any medication changes or additional treatments being performed.
● Document patient records through electronic charts and our medical records system.
● Any concerns deemed immediate need to be brought to Dr. Sinha immediately. Other pending concerns will be discussed at the
weekly supervision.
● Maintain and update training protocols at each session.
● Understand 10-20 electrode placement and measure electrode placement precisely for each client ensuring proper alignment.
● HIPPA confidentiality is deemed most important and will not discuss patient records unless release is signed by patient, parent,
or legal guardian.
● Maintain training rooms with a clean working environment for each patient, maintain neurofeedback supply list, and replace as
necessary.
● Maintain and update brain-related software, backup files consistently and knowledge of troubleshooting computer related
technical problems.
● Other research assignments and duties as requested.
