OF0104 Accessing MyJDW, MyLearning and the MyJDW app

Step To access My JDW:

• Using a laptop or PC, navigate to the website www.myjdw.co.uk

Step • Click on ‘SIGN UP’.

Step • Enter your Employee Number.

• Select your ‘Date of birth’ from the drop down options.
3 • Enter your ‘Personal email address’.
• Confirm your email address - this must be an email account that can be accessed
in order to finalise the registration.
• Enter a password - this must contain at least 8 characters and be a mixture of
letters and numbers.
• Enter a password - this must be a minimum of 10 characters, cannot contain your
name, employee number or known as name and must include at least three of the
following:
- Upper case letter
- Lower case letter
- Number
- Special character e.g. &, £, %.
• Confirm your password.
• Click on ‘Register’.

Step • The ‘Account Verification’ window will appear.

• Log in to the email account which was used to register with MyJDW. If there is no
4 email from MyJDW, then click on the ‘RESEND EMAIL’ button.
• Close the window and exit the MyJDW page.
• It is recommended that you clear the internet history on your device before
activating the account.

Step • Open the email from MyJDW.

• Click on ‘Login’.

Step • The MyJDW site will open in a new window.
• Enter your employee number and password.
6 • Press ‘Log In’.
• Enter the verification code from the email and press ‘Confirm’.
• The MyJDW log in page will now be displayed.
• Enter your employee number and password.
• Press ‘Log In’.

Step • The MyJDW homepage will open.

• The banner at the top of the screen can be used to navigate the site.

Step To download the MyJDW app:

• Using a smartphone or tablet, log in to the MyJDW website.
8 • Press the ‘DOWNLOAD THE APP TODAY’ link on the homepage.
• Press the ‘Download The App’ link.
• Select whether the device is ‘Apple’ or ‘Android’.
• Press on the ‘(Install App)’ link.
• For Android devices, once the app has downloaded, it is ready to use. The login
details are the same as those for the MyJDW website.
• For Apple devices, go to Step 9.

Step For Apple devices:

• Once downloaded, when the app is first opened, a message will appear stating that
9 the app developer is not trusted.
• Press ‘Cancel’.
• Tap Settings from the home screen of the device, then press ‘General’.
• Select ‘Profiles’, ‘Profiles & Device Management’ or ‘Device Management’.
• Under the ‘Enterprise App’ heading, tap the profile for ‘J D Wetherspoon Plc’.
• Tap ‘Trust “J D Wetherspoon Plc”’.

• The MyJDW app is now ready to use. The login details are the same as those for
the MyJDW website.

Step To access MyLearning:

• Click on ‘MyLearning’ from the MyJDW homepage.

Step • MyLearning Centre will open.

• If prompted, click on ‘allow pop ups’ in order to load the training.
11 • Outstanding training will be displayed towards the bottom of the screen.
• Click ‘Start’ or ‘Launch’ to begin the training.
• The pass mark for any course is 100%.
• If 100% is not achieved, then the course will need to be re-taken until 100% is
achieved. The is no limit to the amount of times that a course can be re-taken.

• Click on ‘myPayslips’ and refer to SOP - OF0163 - Accessing MyView.
