The document divides up work for a mathematical modeling project on why zebras have stripes and leopards have spots. Woody will create the poster and presentation, and help conclude the topic. Ivy, Hanwen, and Jiancheng will research pattern formation in nature, Turing's thoughts on mathematical explanations of patterns, and send rough ideas. Siddharth will develop the introduction and objectives for the presentation and poster. All will discuss ideas by Week 9 and present a poster with assumptions, equations, diagrams, limitations, and extensions.

Topic: How did the zebra get stripes and the leopard its spots?
How work divided:
Woody boase—mainly do the poster and presentation and help the conclusion for the topic Ivy, Hanwen, jiancheng—do the academic research and collect information on “reason of formation of pattern, mathematical explanation of patterns in nature, extension of Alan Turing’s thoughts…”. (We will send our rough ideas and information on the way for the poster) Siddharth Rathod—basically do the beginning and ‘objectives’ part for the presentation and more, also do the poster.
The deadline for doing research is Week 9, then all 5 of us would
discuss about ideas in poster and video presentation. (Poster consisting of assumption, ‘equations’, diagrams , limitation, extension and other parts. )
We would discuss further details on our academic part later. 23/10/19
