1. Do you like studying English?

- *Sure I do like studying English.

- Not only that nowadays, English has become an international language, but it
also acts as a necessary skill for anybody in modern days.
- I have been using English as my favorite language everyday in order to do
many activities either on internet or daily-life.
2. What do you often do to practise your English speaking skill?
- I use English my second language on internet everyday.
- I study English at my University.
- I also watch videos and movies, and listen to music in English.
3. Do you often travel at weekends?
- Not really, I have been studying away from home. So *most of the time when I
have time on weekends, I only want to travel back to my hometown.
4. What do you often pack when you go away for a short trip?
- I always bring my backpack. It includes some of my clothes, enough money
for the trip and usually a book to read when I have spare time and some
medicines.
- Oh yeah, let’s not forget about my smartphone.
5. Is there anything you really love doing when you go on holiday?
- Oh yes. It is reading books while travelling. I love reading books so much.
Books are always interesting but I often don’t have enough time to read them.
So why don’t we read it while having spare time due to travelling?
6. What subject did you like best at highschool?
- *English it is!
- I was not very good at English at highschool. However, because I really really
like it and I have been practicing a lot, my english skills have (gradually)
become better and better.
- *Other than English, I also enjoy Math and Physics.
7. Who was your favourite teacher at highschool?
- My Math teacher! She is my favorite at highschool because of both her wide
range of knowledges and her diligence.
8. Do you like travelling?
- I like travelling, but only short-distance travelling because I don’t like to pack
with full of luggage for long-distance travelling.
9. Do you often travel light or heavy?
- Because I don’t like to pack with full of luggage for long-distance travelling,
so *I will always choose light-travelling
10. Have you ever travelled by plane?
*Yeah, I have.
- My hometown is far away in Southern Vietnam, so *everytime I want to go
back home, I have to take a flight.
11. Have you got any hobbies?
- *Recently, I am really into skipping rope.
- It is such a healthy hobby. It is very basic, doesn’t require any set-up or
expensive equipment.
- Most importantly, it helps me to lose weigh.
12. Are you a member of any clubs?
- *I am the member of many clubs at the moment. But *the one I like the most is
our University’s English club (because it is the most active club in our
university right now.)
13. Do you have to wear uniform when you study at university?
- *Yes, of course. Except in the evening, everytime we go outside our room, we
have to wear Police’s uniform.
- I don’t mind it, though. It looks extremely cool and solemn.
14. How much time do you spend doing homework everyday?
- *As much as possible. As I am the man who is in charge of academic activites
in our class, I have to complete every homework teachers hand out.
15. Do you like studying online?
- *I don’t like it. Studying online is not interactive enough for me.
- The period of covid was a nightmare for me.
16. Have you got much free time?
- No. I haven’t recently. *I have been studying really hard to prepare for the
exam.
- So free-time is something too luxurious for me.
17. What do you often do in your free time?
- *I often choose to play games to let it take away my stress.
- Running around University’s campus is also not a bad choice.
18. Do you like travelling?
- I like travelling, but only short-distance travelling because I don’t like to pack
with full of luggage for long-distance travelling.
19. Where did you travel to last year?
- *I travelled to Quang Ninh for the first time. It was such a beautiful city.
- I enjoyed the stunning view of the city there, and also the peaceful scenery of
Ha Long Bay.

- It depends on the distance.
- *I prefer travelling by plane for long distance and travelling by motorbike for
short distance.

22. What was the most interesting place you have ever visited?
- *It should be Hoan Kiem Lake.
- It is located in the heart of Hanoi Capital. It is such a peaceful place where
locals gather to exercise, relax and socialize.
- There’s a bunch of delicious cuisine there, too. I enjoyed the street food there
so much.

- *I only want to go home on holiday.
- It is such a relief to meet my family after a long studying time.

- My best friend Sy Tam. Since I’m not very familiar with travelling around
Northern Vietnam, and luckily no one knows the area better than Sy Tam, he is
the best partner to spend holidays with.
28. What are you going to do this weekend?
- I really want to go on a vacation. However, *I’m having 3 exams next week, so
I can’t. I need to plan for my exams.
29. What are your plans for next summer vacation?
- *I’m planning to spend my summer vacation with my family overseas.
- I have never gone abroad for my entire life, so I really want to give a try once.
My destination is expected to be the USA.
30. Do you want to change anything in your life?
- I’m pretty satisfied with my life. If there’s anything, *I only wish to have more
time to spend with my family.
31. What are three jobs with high salary?
- Those could be: IT manager, Finance manager, Medical Speacialist.
32. What do you like about your job?
- Being a police is such a pride for my family.
