1. How do you normally travel to work or school? What is the journey like
- I normally travel to school by an electric bicycle because it’s convenient and it’s can protect
the eviroment. My home is far from school so the journey can take a long time and kinda
tough because of the traffic.
2. What's your favourite way to travel? Why?
- I like to travel by motorbike because i can stop anywhere i want and see a lots of places on
the way. And when I'm in the car I get car sick so i can’t travel by car because it makes me so
uncomfortable.
5. What is the most famous city in your country?
- I think the most famous city in my country is HCM city because it is an modern and popular
city with lots of tourists all over world.
6. Tell us about the town you come from.
- I’m come from HCM city. Situated in the Southeast region of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City is
a centre for finance, media, technology, education, and transportation
11. What is the most expensive/beautiful city in Vietnam?
- Beautiful city: Because i’m come from HCM city so i think HCM city is the most beautiful
city in VN. HCM city has it’s own beauty, with high towers rising up alongside old villas. It’s
the mixture of modern and classic beauty.
- Expensive city: At first, i thought HCMC is the most expensive city, but then i googled and
found that actually Ha Noi is the most expensive city in VN.
14. What is the most beautiful place in Vietnam/Ho Chi Minh City?
- I think the most beautiful place in VN/HCMC is Saigon River. Saigon River has its own
beauty that is hidden behind the bustling pace of life.

Unit 8: Appearance
1. Tell us about a festival that happens in your country.
- I would like to talk about the Tet festival. It is one of the most important festivals in
Vietnam. People often go to their hometown and celebrate Tet with family. Most of childrens
like Tet, because they can wear new clothes and receive lucky money as a wish of luck, health
and good things will come to them.
2. What are your favourite clothes?
- I like T-shirts because they’re very comfortable and easy to mix and match them with other
pieces of clothing. But today I’m wearing a uniform because i had and physical education
class.
3. What are you wearing today?
- Today i wearing my school uniform because i had and physical education class.
4. When you buy clothes, what is most important for you?
- When i buy clothes, the most important is the quality of the material, because if it has good
quality, i can wear it for a long time.
7. Describe your best friend's appearance.
- My best friend is Hien. She is tall and thin. She has long brown hair. She has an oval face
and she always wearing a black glasses.
8. What things did you like when you were a child?
- When I was a child, I liked to eat snack and ice-cream, i also liked watch cartoons and play
with the other kids in my neighborhood.
11. Can you describe yourself to me?
As you can see, i’m a short and thin girl, wearing a white glasses, I have a long straight black
hair. I choose this kind of hair because i think it suits me.
15. What are you wearing?
- I’m wearing my school uniform because i had and physical education class.

Unit 9
1. Do you enjoy going to the cinema? Why?/Why not?
- Yes, i do. Because in the cinema, i can watch the film on a big screen, it’s very different
from watch them on the television at home.
4. What was the last film you saw?
- The last film I saw was Spirited Away. It’s a Japanese animation about a ten-year-old girl
who enters the world of spirits and her parents are turned into pigs by the witch. She have to
find a way for her and her parents to return to the human world.
5. What type of film do you like best?
- I like cartoons and animation best because they can make me feel relaxed and laugh
whenever i watch them.
6. Are there any kinds of film that you don't like? What are they?
- I don’t like horror films because i think they’re very scary, and i can’t sleep well after
watching them.
8. What are your plans for this weekend/your next vacation?
- This weekend, I am going to the cinema with my friend to relax because we had finished the
speaking test.
- In my next vacation, i will travel to Chau Doc, An Giang with my family. We will visit the
Pagodas.
11. What kind of music do you like?
- Actually, i don’t have any particular type of music, I’d go with anything that sounds catchy
and has good lyrics.

Unit 10
1. Which school subjects were most interesting for you?
- The most interesting subject for me is literature because when i learned literature i not only
know more works of art but also understand culture, tradition of each country.
5. Would you like to have a robot in your home to do the housework? (ít hỏi)
- Yes, I would. I would have more time to do other things.
6. Do you think teleporting will be possible in the future? (ít hỏi)
- Yes, I think so because the technology would be developed more in the future.

- Yes, I think so because the technology would be developed more in the future.
10. What advice would you give to help someone save money?
- Lots of people spend so much money when they’re shopping online, so i will advice them
should stop shopping online on Shopee and Lazada, it’s can save a lots of money.

2. Do you like camping/travelling? Why?/Why not?
- No, I don’t like camping because I hate sleeping in a tent and be surrounded by
the swarms of mosquitoes.
- Yes, i like to travelling, it’s a great way to relax and relieve stress, I often
travel on holidays with my family.
5. Where do people in your country usually go on holiday?
- On holiday, lots of people in my country like to return to their hometown, for those who
don’t return to hometown, they usually go to Dalat, Sapa or Phu Quoc.
9. Do you like package holidays or being independent and arranging everything
yourself?
- I like an independent holiday because I can decide where i want to go, how long I want to
spend there, what i want to eat.
10. Tell us about the best or worst holiday you've ever had.
- The best holiday i’ve ever had is about 2 years ago, it was my summer vacation so my
family took me to Thailand. That was the first time I went abroad. We visited lots of famous
places and took lots of pictures.
14. Do you prefer to travel alone, with friends, or with your family? Why?
- I prefer to travel with my family because I don’t have time with them on normal day so i
want to travel with them when i have time and have a good memory of them.
16. What is the best place to visit in Vietnam?
- I think Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Quang Ninh is the best place to visit in VN, it
has Vietnam’s biggest natural cave — Son Doong Cave.
17. What Vietnamese foods should tourists eat?
- I think tourists should try on Bun Dau Mam Tom, it’s Traditional Vietnamese dishes cannot
be found anywhere in the world, some people think it stink, some people think it delicious, so
you can’t find out wherther it good or not if you don’t try it.
18. What places should tourists visit in Ho Chi Minh City?
