The site showcases the University of the Philippines wherein its the only premier state university in our
country. The said school is known to be best in terms of quality education and cost of tuition is lower
compared to rest of universities. If given a chance I would enroll in the course of mechanical engineering,
this course is was my original goal, however covid happened making me unable to achieve my goal

Review: The video shows how video conferencing can be helpful as an Alternative delivery
System. In an effort to provide classrooms and libraries with affordable, high-quality video
conferencing, Vidyo, Inc., is currently working with U.S schools to help enhance students' learning
experiences by enabling virtual classes and field trips that supplement K-12 curriculum with real
world interactions via low-cost, high-quality video conferencing. They show that even though the
teacher is not inside the classroom they can record or play a live video of the teacher that teaches
lesson to the class. It allows learning at a distance, allows access to information, promotes global
collaboration, and also allows conduction of virtual field trips.

Reflection:

1. In your opinion, will there be a difference in the quality of graduates from formal regular
school to the graduates of distance education using ADS? Identify if there is/are and
justify if there are none.
The recent pandemic situation had brought the whole world to a standstill. The usual
activities in all types of institutions were halted for weeks. This also included educational
and vocational institutions calling off classes for an indefinite period of time. But thanks to
the online education system, teachers could get in touch with their students.Though with
a few shortcomings, online education platforms can still grow to give a complete User
Experience. The place of regular education still has no alternative but the content of the
world has changed and people are having to keep up with it. The learning experience of
distance education is also expected to improve and integrate learning experiences to
make online learning platforms more inclusive.
2. What challenges are you facing in our present mode of learning? How do cope with the
changes in the new normal? What suggestions/recommendations can you give to
improve the delivery of learning using this mode? Would you prefer face-to-face classes
or modular classes? Why?
While studying online, there are many chances of deviating from other activities like
social media or even listening to music. Distractions contribute to time wastage, loss of
concentration and reduces the effectiveness of distance learning.Having a time
management system is perhaps the most difficult challenge for students to overcome
because it depends entirely on self-motivation. Students need to be serious about their
education, learn how to manage time, set their daily schedule, and study despite constant
distractions.
