2021
This school year 2020-2021 brought
a lot of changes. One of the major
changes in the country is the new set-
up in education. For this, DepEd
introduced the LDM Course. This
course provides knowledge to deliver
education to learners in this new normal
setting by using Self-Learning Modules.

Teachers reached this far and were

able to cope up with the challenges and
demands they are facing in this distance
learning situation because of the
learning they gained in LDM Course.

This Practicum Portfolio contains

MOV’s that we have used in this school
year in delivering our lessons despite
of this pandemic. It contains various
artifacts like WHLP, ILMP, Worksheets,
LAS, certificates and even the
conversation made with the parents and
learners.

3.1. Learner’s gender, needs, strengths, interest & experiences

ANNOTATION:
To effectively implement the distance learning, it is necessary to provide students with
quality reading materials and assessment tools. Providing supplementary reading materials,
video lessons, and worksheets aside from the printed modules are the common strategy
that I used to my students. Feedbacks are important to secure learning and improvement of
the new normal teaching strategy, as such, communication with students and parents are
essential.

3.4 Learners in difficult circumstances

ANNOTATION:
Our school recognizes the difficulty of its stakeholders even before the pandemic. Aside
from Pioduran, we also have students coming from neighboring municipalities. These
students are seldom coming to school for the retrieval of answer sheet. Some of them are
hard to reach because of poor network connection in their area. Still, learning should
continue thus consideration have been applied with agreement from the students and
parents.

7.4. Professional reflection & learning to improve practice

LDM Course helps us to assess our strengths

and weaknesses. This helps us to gain
knowledge, skills and mindset that are necessary
in this new normal set-up. LDM Course helped
us reflect as a teacher as well as challenged us
to reach heights of our capabilities. Recognizing
our strengths and weaknesses are essential in
order to know what to maintain, what to improve,
and most specially what to learn. This course
drives us to upskilling in order to cope with the
new normal set- up and be technologically
competitive.
LDM course is an opportunity for us to learn
more than we expect as it make us creative and
innovative as we conquered the school year
2020 – 2021 despite the Covid-19 pandemic. To
end, learning must continue, and we teachers
should secure the quality of teaching and
learning we are offering amid the Covid-19
pandemic.

ANNOTATION:
LDM course became our tool to survive in our teaching
endeavor despite the covid-19 pandemic. It’s the driving force for
us teachers to continue to improve ourselves as a person and as a
teacher.
