3.1 Learners’ gender, needs, strengths, interest and experiences

ANNOTATIONS:
To address learner’s need I regularly communicate with them via messenger. In fact, I
created separate group chat with the parents and the students wherein I explain the
lessons based on the SLM that they have. I also created video lessons and have it posted
in our GC and in my Google classroom for them to access and be guided in answering
their SLM.

3.4 Learners in difficult circumstances

ANNOTATIONS:
I thought that SLM printed and distributed to my students is enough for them to grasp the lesson.
But after retrieving their outputs I notice that most of the task were not achieved. They were not able
to finish it, and I realized that they really struggled and find it difficult to learn the lessons. Because
of this, I decided to make huge adjustments for them to cope up with the lessons. I also make use of
online platforms and post my self-instructional video for them to access and be guided in answering

4.1 Planning and management of teaching and learning process

ANNOTATIONS:
When I was adjusting and crafting my lessons, I assessed my pupils based on their
profile and background and I believed that even in the new set-up pupils can still
showcase their creativity by giving them performance task to do. I also provide
interactive video lessons and make use of Google forms application to manage teaching
and learning process.

4.2 Learning outcomes aligned with learning competencies

ANNOTATIONS:
The learning tasks and the output of the learner must be aligned with the learning
competencies in the learning lessons. In making a WHLP, LP, CO plan, lesson exemplars
all activities must jived with the learning objectives or competencies that you wanted
your pupils to achieve.

5. 1 Design, selection, organization and utilization of assessment strategies

ANNOTATIONS: I prepared assessments that are design and aligned to the learning
competencies. I made learning activities in which answers can be found in the SLM. I
also provide the pupils performance task like dancing, drawing, slogan or poster making
and many more. I asked the parents to guide their child in answering or doing the given
activities.

ANNOTATIONS:
I created video lessons and posted in my pupils Group Chat and in my YT account. I also
made activity sheets in printed and in digital form as a supplementary material. I made
all of this for my pupils to have a better understanding on the lesson.

7.5 Professional Development Goals

ANNOTATIONS:
Learning is a continuous process. And as of now, I am enrolled in a graduate school.
Being teacher, I never settle down to mediocrity. As much as possible i wanted to join
more webinars that would somehow sharpen and hone my skills in teaching. Having this,
I believe that no pandemic can hinder me to be and effective and efficient teacher in this
trying times.

ANNOTATIONS:
In order press upon and cope up with the new normal situation in education I attended
LAC sessions and webinars initiated by DepED. This help me a lot to learn in different
apps, technologies, teaching and learning strategies that would be helpful and suitable in
the new normal of education.

7.4 Professional reflection and learning to improve practice

LDM course give me the opportunity to revisit, weigh, and assess my strength and
weaknesses. This collection of work help me look back on how did I perform as educator
in this new normal situation.
This LDM 2 Practicum Portfolio mirrors my abilities and capabilities. It also
present on how far I have improved and see what are the things that I have to address.
With all the preparations that I made, the webinars that I attended, I could say that I do is
not a walk in the park. It entails a lot of hard. At first, I find really very difficult but I
need to walk an extra mile to cope up in the new normal set-up. Looking at my
compilation of artifacts, I’m glad that despite the obstacles that hinder me along the way,
I was able to adapt slowly in the current situation. Even before the school year starts, I
keep pushing so hard. I have to prepare and be adept, for me to deliver quality education
even in this time of pandemic.

ANNOTATIONS:
I give full credits to LDM 2 Course for helping me change my mindset and gain
knowledge and technical skills necessary in this current set-up in education.

ANNOTATIONS:
In monitoring and evaluating the progress of my learners and their achievement, I
communicate with them regularly. I contact and respond to them thru text, email, and via
messenger. I also checked their outputs as my basis in making their grades.

ANNOTATIONS:
I created GC with the parents where I will post my announcement regarding distribution
and retrieval of SLMs. I also communicate to them the status of their child, their
progress and achievement via text or via messenger or I talked to them personally during
distribution or retrieval of SLM.

6.2 Engagement of parents and the wider school community in the educative process

ANNOTATIONS:
I humbly asked the parent to get and drop off the SLMs in school during the time and
day schedule following the standard health protocol set by the IATF. I also ask her to
lend me a hand in monitoring her child and even assist him/her in doing the task in the
SLM. I always give thanks to them for their undying support just make everything
possible in this school year.
