With the help of WHLP,and DLl Planner guides and directs the teachers as well as
the students to be oriented and knowledgeable on the topics to be discussed and
procured at the end of the period covered.. WHLPs, together with SLM.s and LAS
are provided to the students so that they will be guided as to when and how they
will answer the materials at home.

activities and other subject integration were employed in the lesson procedure
in order to consider the individual differences of the students especially during
this pandemic.

Since face-to-face class is still prohibited due to public health situation, the
integration of SLMs with the alternative learning delivery modalities (modular) will
help ensure that all learners have access to quality basic education for this school
year. I utilized Self Learning Modules which are MELCs-based provided by DepEd
and are quality assured by the central office. Since SLMs is developed and
intended primarily for the use of learners outside the classroom setting, I see to it
that this creates an effective learning material for the learners to learn. All the
activities, performance tasks and the assessments (pre and post) are aligned in the
learning competencies. Answer’s key is also supplied which contains the answers
of all questions and activities that are found in the different parts of the SLMs which
ultimately provide an immediate feedback on the performance of the learners. I also
developed a Learning Activity Sheet (LAS) as a supplementary learning materials
which is simplified for the leaners to better understand the topic or lesson.

Doing this portfolio wasn’t a smooth sailing at all. I didn’t realize that
the use of MOVs as evidences of this work paved the way of my time
and effort just to accomplish this output.

The process of making this portfolio unleashed a new portal of learning

that exuded me to value every detail of my work and the like. This work
reformed me to design activities from the lessons that are coherent to
its learning competencies to the best of my knowledge, and maximized
learning in this new that is within the reach of the learners. Also I was
able to keep track on the student’s progress and achievements the way
they answered the modules, communicate them including their parents
getting feedbacks on their concerns and challenges they’ve
encountered and to conduct assessment and evaluation on their
learning outcomes. In this way, I can be able to make conclusions if the
learning delivery mode being implemented and employed in the
educative process would be sufficed, efficient and effective in order to
continuously improve lessons and provide support for learners as they
learn.

Crafting of Learning Activity Sheets, Weekly Home Learning Plan,

monitoring students’ learning progress, and feedbacking and other
related works were the challenges I faced in adjusting to this new
normal. But of course, this kind of work is expected from us teachers
as we are the soldiers in the field and our duty is to sustain the
teaching and learning process and not to blame somebody. Struggles
are really real in this new normal way of education. However, looking
back at the things I’ve done just to sustain and continue education, I
can really say that I achieved something that is beyond my usual
routines. It is fulfilling on my part that with this LDM-2, I did something
that is useful and is helpful for the teachers as they cross the bridge of
new normal education with full of doubts and worries. I held on a
concept that, it is not all about the struggles we faced as we traverse
this new normal but it is all about the love and care that we can give to
our students as they continue their education until they achieve their
goals in life and we serve as their strong bridge in doing that.

As such learning is facilitated with the aid of these alternative modes

to deliver learning to their homes, we should not be confident and
sufficed to it. We should always look for any means where students
would not suffer and getting tired in answering modules. We should
provide supplementary activities in the lessons that would consider the
individual differences of the students and the availability of the
resources in their homes such as the Customized Activity Sheet. We
should not let them feel that they are not alone in this quest and let
them feel motivated by communicating them regularly. So that they
can feel assurance and gently adapt the new normal situation since
learning is continuous and irresistible.
My reflection above explained the things that I’ve learned from the
experiences of my journey in this course and the instructional implications
of applying this Learning Delivery Modality of instruction as alternatives in
response to the new normal situation.

God Bless!
