Monsoon. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly lead to flash floods or
landslides.

The Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of Cordillera Administrative
Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the
monsoon.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may expect partly cloudy to
cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the shear line and

The rainy season may bring many inconveniences to our kids but we always make
sure they are protected -- umbrellas and jackets to keep them dry, staying in when the
rain is too strong, or making sure they get home safe despite the floods. Aside from
these challenges, the rainy season can also bring danger in the form of sickness, and
one of the most worrisome diseases of this season is dengue.
