On the effect of MY CANH Turn-around-zone during construction of Immersed Tunnel

Referring to your letter No.561/PBDT-CV dated 3 April 2006, we would like to reply as following.

1. As reported in the Detailed Engineering Report in Table 4.4.10.3 on page 4-4-75, the navigation conditions
of Saigon River where the navigable channel width during construction is 100m which has been given from
the Port Authority. Although the report has not referred to the turning basin, it is not available during
construction. Please refer to the Drawing No.TN-1-11R of the Reference Drawings for Package2 and the
page3-3 in the Technical Proposal for Consulting Services for Construction Supervision as attached.
2. During construction the navigation fairway is bordered by sinker fence such a dragging anchor as not to
invade the Tunnel construction area and not open unless the backfilling on the Immersed Tunnel finished.
