WEEK 1

LINANGIN NATIN:

gagawing pagsusulat.

ANALYSIS :

1. Art can be classified its entity as Major or minor arts. Fine

or Aesthetic are considered as major arts while utilitarian or
practical are considered a Minor Arts

2. Examples of Fine Arts are “The Creation of Adam “

(Painting), “Judgement Of Paris “ (Mosaic), “Monotype “
(Printmaking), “Bust Of Louis XIV” (sculpture) and “Parthenon”
(Archoteccture)

3. Examples of Ulitaranian Art are Ceramic Handmade

Teapots, ornate spears and harpoons.

4. Fine art is something created for aesthetic or intellectual purposes. Fine art might be
beautiful or convey ideas and emotions, but it has no other purpose than to be art. Meanwhile,
Utilitarian art or Practical Art is art that has function as its priority, and yet is still
aesthetically pleasing
BIOLOGY :

TRY THIS

 A.
B. Both Plants and Animals are considered as living things and at a certain stage,
both will die. They have cells which need specific nutrients, macromolecules, pH levels
etc. to grow and supply the body.

ANALYSIS :
1. The three important things that all living forms have in common are : (1) All living
organisms have cells. (2) All cells can only come from pre-existing cell. That means ,
life comes from life. (3) Cells carry genetic material passed to daughter cells during
cellular division .
2. each cell derives from a pre-existing cell by division. A cell has a life , it can give rise to another
cell which also has a life , it carries genetic material passed to daughter cells during cellular division.

the new coronavirus has the dubious distinction of not

3.According to some biologist ,
really being a living organism, instead they call them pseudo-alive. viruses such as
Corona Virus lack the hallmarks of other living things. They are made up of DNA or RNA
encapsulated in a protein shell and can only survive and replicate inside a living host, which
could be any organism on earth. Outside of their host some viruses can still survive, depending
on environmental conditions, but their life span is considerably shorter. This complete
reliability on a host for all their vital processes has led some scientists to deem viruses as non-
living.

REFLECT :

Cells are the basic building blocks of living things. The human
body is composed of trillions of cells, all with their own specialised
function. Cells carry on the many functions needed to sustain life. They grow and divide,
thereby producing more cells. This requires that they take in nutrients, which they use to
provide energy for the work that cells do and to make the materials that a cell or an organism
needs. Is it necessary to keep each cell healthy and functioning well for it is the source of the
body's energy supply; it keeps us not only functioning at optimal health, but functioning at
all.

ANALYSIS:
1. The nucleus is known as the control centre of the cell. Due to the

incompetence of the nucleus, damage to the cell's other structures may

happens , such as the cell membrane or mitochondria, can cause numerous
problems and potentially lead to the death of the cell.

2.

3. It is necessary for the defective products to be remodeled or perhaps be

disposed to avoid assumptions about product quality. The Lysosome serves as the
waste organelle that digest and eliminates the unwanted protein , DNA, RNA,

carbohydrates, and lipids in the cell.

4. In addition, cell membranes are involved in a variety of cellular

processes such as cell adhesion, ion conductivity and cell signalling. It

serves as the attachment surface for several extracellular structures

and other cells to hold them together to form tissues.

5. Cells provide structure and function for all living things, from

microorganisms to humans. It requires to operate well because basically An

organism's survival depends upon the thousands of chemical reactions that cells carry

out relentlessly.

REFLECT :
Cell being the basic building blocks of all living things. They carry on the many functions

needed to sustain life. Therefore , Cell organelles malfunctioned may lead to serious

illness. One of the most fatal disease may occur is Cancer.

Cancer is unchecked cell growth. Mutations in genes can cause cancer by accelerating

cell division rates or inhibiting normal controls on the system, such as cell cycle arrest

or programmed cell death. As a mass of cancerous cells grows, it can develop into a

tumor.
REFLECT :

Painting titled “Bayanihan” by Fernando Amorsolo it depicts the

Philippine's take on a worldwide cultural phenomenon called communal work.
The painting gives a glimpse of a life when Nipa huts or 'Bahay Kubo' were still
a common thing in the islands. These stilt houses were built to be light and
mobile that a handful of people can carry it to a new location with little effort.
They will insert some bamboo poles just beneath the floor to give people a way
to carry it over their shoulders. They never expect to be paid for their efforts,
nor do the owner of the hut expect to pay them.

Today, 'bayanihan' is called upon to gather the community, or the nation, for
social initiatives, like disaster relief. Natural calamity is very common in the
Philippines, which bolsters the community together and strengthen their ties
even more.

GENERAL CHEMISTRY
2. solids are denser than liquids, which are denser than gases. . The particles in the
solid are touching with very little space between them. The particles in a liquid
usually are still touching but there are some spaces between them. The gas particles
have big distances between them.

3. gas vibrate and move freely at high speeds. liquid vibrate, move about, and slide past
each other. solid vibrate (jiggle) but generally do not move from place to place.
4. gas are well separated with no regular arrangement. liquid are close together with no
regular arrangement. solid are tightly packed, usually in a regular pattern.

5. Solids, Liquids, Gases.
