Today I am so happy to represent for my group to talk about the reasons why you should travel
to Da Nang. We hope that you will spend your time in Da Nang at least once in your life. Main points:

Our presentation is divided into 2 main points – First, we will let you have an overview of Da
Nang city such as the geographical features, the weather, the people, and the transportation and then
we will take you to several tourist attractions.
II. BODY
4. And now we will explain them to you

- First of all, Da Nang is located in the coast of the central region of Vietnam, which is
bounded on the North by Thua Thien Hue, on the West and South by Quang Nam province, and on
the East by Eastern Sea. It is 766 km from Hanoi capital to the North, and 961 km from Ho Chi
Minh City to the South.
The weather in Da Nang is not divided into 4 distinct seasons like the North, but only 2 main
seasons are the rainy season and the dry season. The rainy season starts from August to December
and the dry season from January to July. The year-round temperature ranges from 25 to 26 degrees
Celsius, there is not much difference between the months. However, there is a possibility of
thunderstorms and storms. If you want to travel to Da Nang, consider choosing the right time.
- The total population of Da Nang City was approximately 1.14 million people in 2019,
increasing 2.4% since 2018. Out of the mainland population, 87.2% live in the urban districts, and
12.8% in the rural district. Local people are ᴠerу polite, generouѕ and kind. Theу are ᴡilling to
ѕhoᴡ уou the ᴡaу if уou are loѕt, and tell уou where to enjoy good foods or good hotels to stay.
The urban transport infrastructure is basically complete with a transport network connecting
the city's ring roads, making Da Nang one of the few cities in Vietnam that rarely face traffic
congestion. Many old roads have been extended and lengthened. Hoang Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap -
Truong Sa road running along the south coast connects Da Nang with Hoi An. Many bridges have
been built across the Han River such as Thuan Phuoc Bridge, Song Han Bridge, Dragon Bridge,
Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge, which not only create beautiful landscapes for
tourists to visit the city, but also play an important role in regulating traffic.
In fact, you can travel to Da Nang by many different means, such as by plane, train, bus, or
motorbike. Depending on personal preferences and cost level, we can choose the appropriate means.
Some things to note when using Da Nang travel facilities are:
- Choose a means of transport that suits your trip costs to avoid incurring additional costs.
- To save and minimize travel costs, choose to rent a motorbike or ride in a group on a tour.
- Choose technology-based taxis instead of traditional taxis to avoid being charged more.
- Now, I will introduce to you some of the prominent tourist attractions in Da Nang. Da Nang,
located in central Vietnam, is a city renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and cultural
heritage. This coastal gem boasts a variety of must-visit attractions, such as the Marble Mountains,
a cluster of limestone hills with caves, temples, and panoramic views. My Khe Beach, one of the
most pristine and popular beaches in the world, offers relaxation and water sports.
Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula is considered as the conjunction between heaven
and earth. Among three Ling Ung Pagodas in Danang, Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra is the biggest,
newest and the most attractive one. This magnificent artwork consists of the three-entrance gate, the
main chamber and the ancestors’ house; and represents a faultless combination of modern and
traditional architectures of Vietnamese pagodas. The height of the pagoda is the 67m.
The Museum of Cham Sculpture in Danang houses the largest exhibition of Cham
sculpture in the world, with almost 300 original sandstone sculptures and some baked clay products
ranging from the 7th to the 15th centuries.
Furthermore, the Dragon Bridge, the sympol of Da Nang city, breathes fire and water every
weekend night. In Da Nang, you'll find a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, making it a
captivating destination for travelers from all walks of life.
Don't miss the enchanting Golden Bridge held by giant stone hands at the Ba Na Hills,
offering a unique vantage point. The ancient town of Hoi An, a short drive away, is a UNESCO
World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved architecture and vibrant lantern-lit evenings.
- One of the pleasures of tourists when coming to Da Nang is to taste a lot of delicious and
unique local dishes. Danang cuisine is influenced by the cuisine of the central coastal region of
Vietnam, especially the land of Quang, but still has its own characteristics. Based on the
geographical position, it is just bordering Quang Nam and only one pass from Hue. Therefore, the
culinary styles of these two lands have been blended together and created the culinary style of Da
Nang people. Da Nang has many typical dishes such as Quang noodles, fish cake soup, rice paper
rolls with pork, duckweed cake… These dishes are delicious. Diners enjoy once to remember the
taste forever.
III. CONCLUSION:
5. To sum up:
Da Nang is a wonderful place for tourists. If you want to visit many interesting destinations,
enjoy lots of delicious food, and communicate with friendly local people, don’t skip this
excellent city.
6. That concludes my presentation to day. Thank you for your attention. I’d be happy to answer
