How to change alarm limit settings

In order to change the alarm limit settings, you need to enter “MAINTENANCE MODE”.

Please be careful, not to change any other settings when entering this maintenance
level.

1) With instrument OFF, press and hold AIR and POWER/MODE button and RELEASE
after the first beep

2) Press AIR 4 times until Alarm--PT is displayed. Then press POWER/MODE.

3) Alarm--PT CH4 LEL is displayed. Press POWER/MODE to change the alarm settings.
First alarm setting to change is WARNING.

For adjusting upwards press AIR until wanted setting is reached. Confirm by pressing
POWER/MODE. To adjust downwards press and hold AIR and POWER/MODE
simultaneously, then press AIR until wanted setting is reached. Confirm by pressing
POWER/MODE.

Repeat this procedure for ALARM, and ALARM H. After completing ALARM H the
display will show END, press AIR and Alarm--PT CH4 LEL will be displayed.

4) Press AIR and next gas will be displayed Alarm--PT O2 %.

For adjusting upwards press AIR until wanted setting is reached. Confirm by pressing
POWER/MODE. To adjust downwards press and hold AIR and POWER/MODE
simultaneously, then press AIR until wanted setting is reached. Confirm by pressing
POWER/MODE.

Repeat this procedure for ALARM, and ALARM H. After completing ALARM the display
will show END, press AIR and Alarm--PT O2 %.will be displayed.

5) Press AIR and next gas will be displayed Alarm--PT H2S ppm

ALARM the display will show END, press AIR and Alarm--PT H2S will be displayed.

6) Press AIR and next gas will be displayed Alarm--PT CO ppm

For adjusting upwards press AIR until wanted setting is reached. Confirm by pressing
POWER/MODE. To adjust downwards press and hold AIR and POWER/MODE
simultaneously, then press AIR until wanted setting is reached. Confirm by pressing
POWER/MODE.

Repeat this procedure for ALARM, and ALARM H, STEL and TWA. After completing
ALARM the display will show END, press AIR and Alarm--PT CO will be displayed.

7) Press AIR 2 times until ESCAPE is displayed. Then press POWER/MODE.

9) Press AIR 9 times until START is displayed. Then press POWER/MODE.

The instrument will then start up in normal operation mode.

10) Calibrate unit according to normal procedure stated in the Log- and Instruction
Manual.
