Lesson Plan – April 28th, 2017

Topic: Physical appearance

N2

Activity 1:
Using flashcards. I'll help children to improve vocabulary about appearance.
Have them repeat after me, then I name one of the word targets and I ask kids to find its
picture. I reward the student that guesses correctly.
Target words: blue-green-brown-black eyes, long-short-curly-straight-wavy-blond-black-
brown-red-grey-white hair, bald, mustache, beard, ponytail, braid.

Activity 2:
I put some flashcards face up on the floor. Have them repeat after me, then have them close
their eyes and take away one flashcard. I ask the kids to open their eyes and ask, “What’s
missing?” Reward the child that guesses correctly.

Conclusion: Review what we have learned.
