TOPIC: FAMILY

I.OBJECTIVES

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to gain the following:

1. Knowledge

● Use the words: Mother, father, sister, brother.

● Ask and answer questions about family using: Who is this? – This is my brother

● Pronounce words: Mother, father, sister, brother fluently and confidently.

2. Competences

General competences: Develop communication and collaboration skills by asking each other about toys names, making simple sentences through activities for example

pair work, group work. Raising interests in learning English

Specific competences: Remember members of family and then practice asking and answering structure: “Who is this? “ - “This is my mother”.

3. Attributes/ Personal qualities:

Having a good attitude to working in groups, individual work, pair-work, cooperative learning.

Have a positive attitude towards learning English; know how to be proud, cherish the language and culture of their people; develop such qualities as love, respect for

yourself, friends, family, environment, hard work and honesty.
