with the terms and conditions below:

Terms and Conditions:

1. The top school from the provincial competitions will proceed to the national finals.
2. Provincial competitions will take place in June 2019 on dates to be advised.
3. Dates for national finals will be advised in due course.
4. Competition rules are defined in the CBZ Debate Manual.
5. The provincial competitions shall be held at specific schools to be advised.
6. Prizes for both provincial and national finalists double if winning schools bank with
CBZ. Prizes for primary schools amount to RTGS 50 000 and RTGS 60 000 for
secondary schools. See CBZ Debate Manual for terms and conditions.
7. Registration and participation is free of charge.
8. Registration can be done over the telephone, through e-mail, via WhatsApp or
personally through an Institute of African Knowledge official.
9. Schools must make their own arrangements for transport to all events, food,
beverages and accommodation for provincial competitions. The organizers will not
provide these except stationery. However, at the national finals stationery, teas, lunch
and refreshments will be provided.
10. CBZ Holdings and the Institute of African Knowledge accept no responsibility for the
medical insurance of participants or for costs arising from accidents and illness occuring
during a competition.
