•DK yarn in black, red, white, blue, red, and beige

•3.5mm crochet hook

•Embroidery needle and scissors

•Toy stuffing

•Black and white felt with glue

• JOIN AND FO – SL ST into the next ST, Chain One, Cut Yarn.

-CONSTRUCTION NOTES-

-Do not join the yarn at the end of rounds unless stated to do so, just keep going
in a spiral (if you struggle with the stitch count use a stitch marker at the
beginning of rounds.)

-Numbers written inside {} state the number of stitches at the end of round.

-Pattern written inside () should be repeated the number of times stated.

Stuff as you go.

Legs, Body and Head – begin with black yarn.

1.CH2, 6SC into the 2nd CH from hook {6}

2.2SC into every ST around {12}

3.(SC1, 2SC into the next st) 6 times {18}

4.(SC2, 2SC into the next st) 6 times {24}

5-7. SC around {24}

8.SC8, (SC2TOG) 4 times, SC8 {20}

9.SC8, (SC2TOG) twice, SC8 {18}


Change to red yarn.

10-12. SC around {18}

Change to white yarn.

13-15. SC around {18}

Change to red yarn.

16-18. SC around {18}

Change to white yarn.

19-21. SC around {18}

Change to red yarn.

22-24. SC around {18}

Change to white yarn.


25.SC around {18}

26.IN BLO SC around {18}

27.(SC2, 2SC into the next st) 6 times {24}

28-34. SC around {24}

Stuff foot and leg.

Join and FO

Repeat rows 1 – 34 to make second leg, do not fasten off. With foot facing away
from you crochet to the left-hand side of leg (about 4SC), CH1 and SL ST into
the right side of the first leg you made. This is to join the two legs; we will now
continue to crochet around both legs and the CH1 to make the body.

Continuing from the SL ST in the 2nd leg….

35.SC23 (around the leg not including the stitch we SL ST into) SC1 into the
chain we made, SC23 (around second leg not including the stitch we CH1 from,
SC1 into the opposite side of the chain space we made. {48}
36-39. SC around {48}

Change to blue yarn.

Change to beige yarn.

Join and FO.


Stuff body.

With yarn tail pick up the front loop only of the remaining 12 stitches in order,
then pull tight to close.

Re-join white yarn in the front loops left from row 26.

88.(SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 9 times {27}

89.(SC2, 2SC into the next ST) 9 times {36}

Join and FO.

With felt cut out eye shape and nose and then glue into place.

With black yarn sew on mouth, eyelashes, and eyebrows.


Skirt – make with blue yarn.

Re-join yarn in the front loops made from round 43 of body.

1.IN FLO SC around {42}

2.(SC6, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {48}

3.(SC7, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {54}

4-15. SC around {54}

Change to white yarn.

16.IN BLO (SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 27 times {81}

17.(SC2, 2SC into the next ST) 27 times {108}

Join and FO.


Arms – make 2 begin with beige yarn.

1.CH2, 6SC into the 2nd CH from hook {6}

2.2SC into every ST around {12}

3-16. SC around {12}

Change to blue yarn.

17.SC around {12}

18.IN BLO SC around {12}

19-28. SC around {12}

Join and FO.

Sew the top of arms closed in a line.

Re-join blue yarn in the front loops left from row 18.
29.(SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 9 times {27}

30.(SC2, 2SC into the next ST) 9 times {36}

Join and FO.

Hair – make with red yarn.

Note – If you would prefer make the hair without any loop stitches, then hook
stitch strands of read yarn over the top to make the hair.

Every stitch on even numbered rows is made using loop stitch.

1.CH2, 6SC into the 2nd CH from hook {6}

2.2SC into every ST around {12}

3.(SC1, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {18}

4.(SC2, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {24}


5.(SC3, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {30}

6.(SC4, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {36}

7.(SC5, 2SC into the next ST) 6 times {42}

8-15. SC around {42}

Join and FO.

Pin and sew onto head.

Cut hair to desired length making sure to pull strands forward for fringe.

**TOP TIP** use hair spray to secure hair into place.

Apron – make with white yarn.

1.CH14, SC into 2nd CH from hook and all other chains across, CH, T {13}
2-16. SC around {13}

17.CH32 and SL ST into the opposite end of row 16 to form a loop. The bottom
of the apron is going to be made as a skirt, therefore you will now SC around
this ‘loop’ to make the skirt.

18.SC across 13 stitches of work and 31 chains {45}

19.{SC8, 2SC into the next ST) 5 times {50}

20.{SC9, 2SC into the next ST) 5 times {55}

21-26. SC around {55}

Join and FO.

Re-join yarn on the opposite side of row 1 and SC around to neaten edge.

Join and FO.

Put apron on doll.


Apron Straps – make 2 with white yarn.

1.CH25, SC around, CH1, T {24}

2.SC across {24}

Joi and FO.

Sew into place from the top of the apron across the back.
