1. Rice field and
Plantations

Rice field is a land that humans

make to grow rice. Rice that
comes from the rice plant.

Plantation is land planted with

some plants by humans Ex:

Tea, coffee, can be processed

into drink.

Rubber, palm oil can be

processed into cooking oil
and cosmetics.

Sugarcane can be processed

into sugar
2.Settlement

Settlement is an area made by

humans to be used as a place to
live. Settlements are used as
gathering and resting places.

People live in city

3. Road and Bridge

A road is a man-made environment to

connect one place to another.
Example: flyovers, and toll roads

A bridge is a building that

connects two separate
places. Bridges are usually
built on rivers or lakes.

The bridge was built to make it

easier for humans if they want
to travel to a place that is
across the river or lake.
4. City park
city park is a piece of land
overgrown with grass or trees in
the middle of the city.

The benefits of low city park:

To produce fresh air.
Recreation place.
5. Harbor

A port is a place where ships stop or dock on

land. Located in a large coastal area for
transportation and trade.

Example:
Tanjung Priok harbor in Jakarta, Tanjung
Benoa harbor in Bali
7. Airport

Airport is the place where planes

take off and land.

Example of an airport:
Soekarno Hatta Airport
Ngurah Rai Airport Bali
