The UAP Pasig Chapter recently held their 37th Founding Anniversary and Turnover
Ceremonies last May 19 at Tanghalang Pasigueño, Pasig City Hall Complex, Pasig City. The annual
event was attended by at least 80 persons including the Chapter Members, Officers, Industry Sponsors and
Guests.

Ar. REY GABITAN, the Incoming National Executive Vice President was the Guest Speaker
of the program, with his talk entitled, “Specialization as a Tool for Global Competitiveness”. He
stressed the importance of landing into specified path of career which would help the Architects in
their marketability whilst joining the world arena of professionals. It is very timely as the Philippines
emerges to be one of the strongest economies, not just in Asia but in the entire world.
