Activity No. 1: First Board of Officers Meeting and Planning Session.

The UAP-Baguio City Chapter’s General Membership Meeting (GMM) for the
month of August was successfully done in the 16th of August, 2017 at Venus
Parkview Hotel.

Two product presentations by Building Hub Inc, and American Technologies

Inc (ATI) were done in line with the main seminar which is the Power Dressing for
Architects. The latter aimed to give more knowledge and educative information to the
members of the chapter in terms of why, when, what and how to dress properly in
events, meetings, seminars and even in the workplace. The speaker was supposed
to be Mr. Joey Sadsad, one of the fashion icons in Baguio City, but was replaced by
Ar. Jonard Don Jardenil, an active member of UAP-BCC, and also one of the names
in the fashion industry in Baguio City. He presented a brief but informative display of
do’s and don’t’s on what to wear and where to wear them.

 Aside from the said presentations, Ar. Arven Lac-amen, the chapter’s current
Vice President for Programs and Development presented items that were discussed
during the meeting in the City Hall which he attended as a representative of the
chapter, namely, new parking ordinances and laws. Ar. Miguel Caluza and Ar. Shiella
Soriano gave their exchange of ideas on the update of the CPD programs for the
chapter.

As a clincher to the long run of presentations, Ar. Dulthe Munar showed the
breakdown of fees and itineraries for the UAP-BCC Singapore Educational Trip which
will be on May next year. Some of the proposed tourist spots to be visited on the land
of the Merlion were presented as well as the preferred hotels and restaurants.
