PE Handball Summative assessment

Students would practice

Goal shooting and gameplay
throughout this 55 minute
Shooting lesson.
Gameplay
Warm up - 10 min

In this activity you would have 2 roles.

Either the GK or the attackers. 2 goals
and 2 different sides. Attackers would
take turns running up for a jump shot and
every shot made would change the GK. If
you make the goal you would be the GK,
and continue for 15 min.
This activity is appropriate for my goal
because, dribbling then jump shooting
the ball is really used in a match and
directly relates on how you can use
accuracy and power when going for a
shot.
Warm up - 15 min
Player on defence would run to half court 3 seconds
before than the players on offence. After 3 seconds
the 2 attackers would run to half court and use their
passing, positioning, receiving, dribbling to try to find
an open spot to go for an shot. After a shot is made
the 2 players switch and so-on and so-forth.

This activity can both improve each individual's

defending and every other skill used in a handball
match. This would highly improve each individual’s
skill in a game because the defending could practice
transitioning from offense to D as well as tightening
space just with 2 players. And attackers could
improve their positioning and their offensive
awareness as well as their shooting.
Game - 30 min

Finally students would split into teams of

6, 1 GK and the rest. 5 minute games and
each team would be able to oppose
against every other team. Students would
apply the skills and practice they’ve done
during classes and be able to perform the
skills.

To wrap up the class, students would play

a big match where they could freely apply
the practice they have completed.
