ELECTROMAGNETIC SPECTRUM
(The Different Regions of
Electromagnetic Spectrum)
LEARNING ACTIVITY
SHEETS (L.A.S) 10
SHEPHERD MY LAMBS (SMYL) CHRISTIAN COLLEGE, INC.
Good morning Grade 10! How are you doing today? You will learn in
this lesson the different regions of electromagnetic waves (EM waves)
and their frequencies and energies. Also, you will be able to compare
and contrast these EM waves in terms of frequency and energy which
depend on their wavelengths.
Activity:
Direction: Enter your data on the table and answer the questions
below.
SHEPHERD MY LAMBS (SMYL) CHRISTIAN COLLEGE, INC.
Questions:
1. Describe the relationship between the following properties of the wave:
a. Wavelength and frequency
2. The Sun is a yellow star. It can warm our skin and give us light so we can
see. However, the Sun can also burn us. How do we explain these daily phenomena
in terms of EM spectrum and wavelength?
