A PATIAL FULFILMENT OF NSTP/CWTS

NARRATIVE REPORT: 7 SATURDAYS CLEANING

The National Service Training Program (NSTP) requires students to participates in

activity. As a part of this requirement my classmate and I participated in cleaning
outside of our school and specifically the target is the tall grass area of our school.

The objective of this activity is to cut those tall grasses and designed our area to look
good on it, many section was assigned of it. Our teacher gave us 7 Saturdays to clean.
This activity was graded for our midterm examination. We also assigned specific tools
and equipment.

On the day of cleaning, we meet early in the morning to start the work. Our teacher
gave us time 7:30-8:30 in the morning. We were surprised to see that the tall grass was
much larger than we anticipitated, and there was a lot work to be done than we
expected. Despite this everyone was motivated and eager to start working for our
grades. As we started cleaning, we moticed that the most food wrappers, cigarette
butts, and plastic bottles. We also found several places of papers and random materials
that have been discarded.

Each section focused on their area, this (NSTP) was challenging. We learn to manage
our time, actions and we learn a lot on how work together with other sections also to my
classmates.

One of the biggest challenges was the heat, because around 8:00 am the heat start. We
had to make sure wedrink enough of water. Another challenge was the presence of
insects we had to be more extra careful. Also teacher challenge us to wear proper
uniform every time we start cleaning because it will give us additional to our grades.

Despite the challenges we faced, we managed to successfully not complete the

cleaning days the grass was tall again it was because of the rainy seaon. Anyway we
proud of our accomplishments even though it was hard to us wake up early after we
struggle to our night class. It was good experience to us to work together as students.
We hope that other student will start taking greater responsibility for its surrounding and
keep it clean and beautiful.
