 What you have read earlier is a legend, a type of
literature. Literature, in its broadest sense, is any
single body of written works. It is a good writing that
has form, points, view and ideas of lasting interest.
 The story books you have read are part of literature.
The different essays you read in school is also part of
literature.

 Differentiate Fiction from Nonfiction literature.
 The teacher will give a sample of each type of fictional
literature. Then, the students will make a guess on
what type of fictional literature a particular sample is.
