PURPOSIVE COMMUNICATION

1. React to the statement "English is not a single variety. It is conglomeration of different dialects."
 English has in the past been regarded as an illiterate variety of the English language. English
was a global dialect that people used to conduct business. We can presume that English is
not a single variety since it is spoken in the majority of nations, including the United States
and its neighbors, even though they speak different languages.
2. In what aspects do the British, American, and Australian English differ?
 Australian English closely resembles British spelling, many common words are spelled
differently in American English. Despite the fact that the term is spelled differently, the
meaning is the same. Some words, such as those ending in 'yse" or "ise" are spelled
differently in Australian and American English.
3. Name one (1) challenge/difficulty that you already experienced in studying the different
varieties of English. How did you overcome that challenge/difficulty?
 There's no denying that learning a second language is challenging; the good news is that
overcoming these challenges and pursuing a research path will lead to a slew of important
and financially rewarding benefits. English has its own collection of challengesand
complexities, but it is well worth studying because it is the most commonly used and used
language for correspondence.
