THANK YOU CHAIR FOR THE RECOGNITION

HONOURABLE CHAIR, FELLOW DELEGATES AND DISTINGUISHED GUESTS

It is an honour to stand before you as a delegate of France today as everybody has


gathered here to discuss and advocate for gender equality in France.
Gender equality is not just a matter of fairness and justice; it is a fundamental human
right that should be upheld and protected by all nations.France, as a progressive and
democratic country firmly believes that the upcoming generation of youth should have
gender equality.The issue of gender inequality affects millions of individuals worldwide,
and France is no exception. Despite the country's recognition of gender equality under
the law, it is crucial that all should identify and tackle the gaps that exist in practice.
Delegate of france believes to forget that gender equality is not just a women's issue but
a human rights issue.Everybody should have the right to these basic things as a citizen
of a countryTherefore, it is a fundamental responsibility to ensure that all individuals are
treated with the same level of respect, dignity, and opportunities.Through the
discussions today, delegate of france hopes to bring light to the current status of gender
equality and identify actionable measures to promote fairness and inclusivity.Delegation
of france firmly believes that the world should dismantle rigid gender roles and promote
