I am writing to express my sincere interest in the WQBRAIN Research Intern position at

WorldQuant Corporation. I am eager to join WorldQuant’s professional research environ-
ment and contribute to its cutting-edge work.
I have recently graduated from the Computer Engineering program at Hanoi Univer-
sity of Science and Technology, a prestigious university in Vietnam, with an outstanding
academic record. I achieved an average GPA of 3.88/4, ranking in the top 1% of my field.
I have also been awarded talent scholarships by the university in recognition of my ex-
ceptional academic performance and dedication. Moreover, my final-year project received
high praise for its practicality and innovation in real-life applications, earning it the Best
Presentation Award for the most outstanding AIoT project.
Although my academic background may not be highly analytical and quantitative, I
have gained six months of research experience in the field of Computer Science at Pixta
Vietnam. During this time, I was exposed to research methodologies, problem-solving
techniques, and practical applications. This experience has honed my research mindset
and equipped me with the skills necessary to tackle real-world challenges.
I am proficient in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and JavaScript,
with Python being my primary language for most of my projects. Additionally, I have
achieved a high level of proficiency in English. In 2017, I obtained an overall IELTS score
of 7.5, and in late 2022, I scored 805 on the TOEIC test.
While I acknowledge my limited knowledge in economics and lack of experience with
the BRAIN system, I am highly motivated to learn and explore new concepts. I am confi-
dent in my ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment.
In conclusion, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my skills to WorldQuant.
I believe that my educational foundation, dedication, and passion make me a suitable can-
didate for this position.
