5. The expansion of Fraser Foods within the next 5 years is the main goal of the
organization. Robin Fraser as Managing Director is very concerned over the future of the
organization but he has to understand that there is no such thing as a ‘perfect leader’. This
concept is suggested by the Hersey Blanchard Model which states that there is no right way
to approach leadership and that leaders must adopt the most suitable style as appropriate for
the situation and its present factors.

Hazim Khan showcases exceptional leadership skills as he obtains feedback from


customers and effectively communicates it to his team of chefs. They are given the freedom
to use their creativity to produce new product ranges.

Kathryn will be appointed as ‘Organizational Development Director’ and she will be


expected to overlook the process of change. She will have to adopt the most suitable
leadership to style to solve and guide people throughout the expansion process.

A new company website will be opened which will be overlooked by Sidra (Marketing
Director). She is a very skilled and experienced individual. This will raise conflicts and
issues when trying to communicate with the rest of her team throughout the expansion
process. She will have to choose a suitable style of leadership to guide her team.

The Managers at this organization must communicate their plans, objectives, procedures
etc. to the employees and respective teams under them. This will ensure their trust and solve
their concerns over their jobs as the business becomes less labor intensive with the
organization expands.
