Blog Post #3 Questions:

a) What are your Capstone goals between now and December 1st? Be specific and
give details and how you plan to accomplish it. The more specific your goals, the
better the chances you will have of accomplishing them.

I need to really prioritize it. I work 10-hour shifts on the weekends, work after school on Friday to about
6:30, have curling on Wednesdays till 5 and TC on Tuesdays and Thursdays till around 5 too. Its hard to
find the time and energy to get things done. I use the class time we get and I usually get quite a bit done
and feel accomplished afterward, but its getting closer to the end and deadline and its adding anxiety on
top of everything too. I think I should start trying to do a little before bed every night to just get a little
of progress done. A little is at least something. I’ll also try and do as much as I can on Mondays too (if
I’m not called into work). Hopefully that will get me back on track.

b) Which specific elements of your project will you accomplish before the end of the
month? Create a checklist of things you want to finish over the next 2 weeks.

Before the end of the month I need to be done almost all, if not all, of the animals I plan to cover. By the
beginning of December, I should have already planned out colour scheme and page setup for each
animal and beginning the first stages of transposing and doing the final edits on the pages themselves.

c) How will you accomplish your goals and stay on task? List the strategies you will
use to keep yourself on track.

Reminding myself how I don’t like to feel overwhelmed and that I don’t have the time
to be stressed with my schedule. I will also start a countdown on my Calander
reminding myself how much time I have left to complete everything, and I will also
make alarms on my phone to tell me when to take 20-30 minutes to work on it to
really make sure I am on top of it.

d) How often and how will you provide evidence of your progress and learning during
this time? Remember, you should be posting to your Evidence and Artifacts Page at
least 2 - 3 times per week. If you haven't, then this is your chance to make that
happen over the next few weeks.

Right now I maybe upload once a week at best and I know I need to get better at that,
so hopefully with the goals I have set in place I should be able to upload the needed
amount, 2-3 times a week.
