29 April 2023 Fire Safety Seminar and Basic Fire Fighting

3. Discussion/ Assessment:

On 0900H of 29 April 2023, SUPT MARISOL H ODIVER, Baguio City Fire

Marshal commanded the team led by FO2 Edison Dangsian together with FO1 Josan M
Guiwed, and FO1Greselle T Primo to conduct Fire Safety Seminar and Basic
Firefighting training to Baguio Gas employees at, Baguio Gas, Baguio City.
The team discussed about mandates of the Bureau of Fire Protection, fire safety
tips, what to do in case of fire, what to do if clothes catches fire, LPG management, and
how to use fire extinguisher. After the discussion, participants had their fire drill, and
had a return demonstration regarding LPG management, on how to use fire
extinguisher and basic firefighting skills using their own firetruck.
Questions were asked by the target audience were answered clearly by the BFP
personnel.
The Activity ended on 1230H with no untoward incident.
