Individual work

Objective: Consolidate Speaking skill by using functional language with the grammatical structures learnt in
classes. Simple past verb to be and vocabulary of professions.

In this Project, students must tell the class who was/were famous people they admire.
• Think of famous people you admire (inventor, actor/actress, athlete, etc.)
• Describe her/his profession.
• Find out about their lives.
✓ When was she/he born?
✓ Where was she/he from?
✓ Say the reason you admire her/him
✓ Give an example of her/his contribution to society.
• Use in your presentation some pictures, wallpapers, music, costumes, etc. to illustrate what you are
saying.

I admire him because he was very intelligent and

Einstein is also known for his contributions to


the development of the quantum theory.

I admire her because she was a multifaceted woman.
