the workplace and job. It measures his approach towards the job and the extent to which the job
is gratifying the employee’s needs. It is the amount of pleasure or contentment associated with a
job. Employee performance, on the other hand, refers to the productivity and effectiveness of an
employee in their job role. It is a measure of how well an employee performs their job duties,
responsibilities, and objectives within the context of their role and the organization’s standards.

Job satisfaction and employee performance are intricately related. Satisfied employees are more
likely to perform better and vice versa. Organizations should strive to create a work environment
that meets the internal and external needs of employees, thereby promoting job satisfaction and

research subject and to look at previous researchers’ work in the same domain. The findings of
this seminar paper showed that many researchers have proven that job satisfaction has a
significant influence on employee performance. The impact of job satisfaction on employee
performance is predicated that job satisfaction have a strong positive impact on job performance

The studies conducted in the Nepalese context consistently demonstrate the significant impact of
job satisfaction on employee performance. Improving job satisfaction levels can lead to higher
job performance, increased employee retention, and ultimately contribute to the achievement of
organizational goals in the Nepalese workplace.
