Finetex Pvt Ltd employs between 201 to 500 individuals, which necessitates a careful
consideration of the span of control within the organization. A narrow span of control is evident
in this company due to the relatively low number of employees under the direct supervision of
each manager. This narrow span allows for a more intimate and close-knit management
approach.

In such a setting, Finetex Pvt Ltd can foster robust employee-management relationships. With
fewer employees to oversee, managers have the capacity to engage with their team members
on a more personal level. This, in turn, can lead to better communication, individualized
guidance, and enhanced career development opportunities for employees.

Their control range also has the effect of decreasing the emergence of informal groups within
the organization. The closer supervision and guidance provided by managers can minimize the
need for employees to seek support or social connections outside the formal structure, thus
promoting a more structured and controlled work environment.

Furthermore, that allows for more precise monitoring and control of day-to-day operations.
Managers can closely observe their subordinates' activities, ensuring that tasks are carried out
efficiently and in alignment with the company's objectives.

Finetex Pvt Ltd.’s choice of a narrow span of control is a strategic decision that enables the
company to maintain strong employee-manager relationships, minimize the formation of
informal groups, exercise close monitoring and control, and provide maximum guidance to its
workforce. This approach contributes to the company's success in managing and developing
its employees effectively.
