The study aimed to determine the Attitude of BSED 3- MATH Students of

Negros Oriental State University, Bais Campus II towards Learning Basic Calculus.

There were thirty BSED 3- MATH students-respondents utilized in this study.

Descriptive and correlational methods were used in the study since it determined

the relationship of the attitude of the students, performance of the teacher, and the

competencies of Basic Calculus and correlate them to their problems encountered. Mean

was the statistical tool used in determining the attitude of the students, performance of the

teacher, and the competencies of Basic Calculus while spearman rank correlation

coefficient was used in identifying the relationship between the two variables. The study

disclosed that students are happy in terms of formulating and solving the activities.

Teacher, on the other hand, is proficient in all areas. Moreover, the students also

understood all the learning competencies in Basic Calculus.
