As written on the group service page (Taken from Gar Wari Jamma): Since I have
little information about the group, I will give you two Scenarios for drafting the
TOR.
Based on the purpose of Gar Wari Jamma, the following second Scenario terms of
reference are proposed:
Purpose: This document aims to outline the terms of reference for Gar Wari Jamma, a
group committed to the betterment of the Harari community.
Scope: The scope of this TOR is to provide a framework for Gar Wari Jamma to discuss
issues of merit to Harari society and take responsibility for discussing topics that require
immediate attention. The group intends to find solutions with recommendations for
these issues. Implementation of the propositions depends on the capacity and ability
of the group’s authority and mandate.
Objectives:
Responsibilities:
1. Gar Wari Jamma members are responsible for identifying issues that are of merit
to society and require immediate attention.
2. Gar Wari Jamma members are responsible for discussing identified issues and
developing recommendations for solutions.
3. Gar Wari Jamma members are responsible for implementing recommendations
and monitoring progress depending on the issue’s complexity.
Membership:

1. Membership in Gar Wari Jamma is open to all individuals who share the group's
commitment to improving (betterment of Harari Society) the Harari community.
2. Members are expected to contribute and participate in discussions if possible.
3. Members are expected to contribute constructively to discussions and decision-
making processes.
Discussions/ Meetings:
1. Other than WhatsApp discussions, the group will hold meetings as determined.
2. The group will develop discussion agendas and will be announced
3. Discussion minutes will be recorded and distributed if necessary
Reporting:
1. During the group discussions, Gar Wari Jamma will provide regular reports on its
activities and progress towards achieving its objectives.
2. Reports will be distributed to all members as needed and available to the public.
