BRIGADA PAGBASA SCRIPT

As our Schools Division’s continuous support to “Hamon: Bawat Bata
Bumabasa”, we proudly launch BRIGADA PAGBASA, an after-school
reading program and advocacy under BRIGADA ESKWELA that
encourages to conduct this partnership initiative for reading which serves as a
platform to synergize education-related endeavors that immediately address
literacy and numeracy learning gaps and promote the culture of reading in
schools and communities.
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to BRIGADA PAGBASA
KICK OFF with the theme: “PAGMAMAHAL SA KULTURA NG PAGBASA,
DAAN SA PAGTATAGUYOD NG KINABUKASAN NG MAG-AARAL SA
MIMAROPA”.
To formally start our program, we must put God first. Everyone is requested
to rise for an opening prayer to be followed by the singing of a Nationalistic
Song.
***And to offer us her warmest welcome, May I call on the very supportive
Principal II of Santa Cruz North Central School, Mrs. Luzvminda P. Penales.
Let’s give her a round of applause.

*** This program will not be complete without its purpose. To furtherly gives
us the aims and objectives of this activity, may I call on the Principal I of
Aturan Elementary School, Mrs. Arlene R. Diaz. Let’s give her a big hand.

This time, we are about to hear a very nice story from the Teacher II of Lusok
Elementary School, I am giving you Mrs. Jezebel R. Real. Let’s give her a
warm round of applause.

naming natuwa ang mga bata pati narin kami mga young at heart.

At this juncture, we are very blessed to have one of our dearest teachers, to
share her expertise in storytelling. May I call on Mrs. Norma T. Grimaldo, a
retired Master Teacher II of our district. Let’s give her a warm round of
applause.

As this pandemic challenged us to give our learners the best of education, we

are still here standing as one because of the persons who are very supportive
of our mission and vision. And to inspire us more today, I am giving you our
ever energetic and supportive Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Elsie T.
Barrios. Let’s give her a big round of applause.

Now, we are about to witness again a wonderful story. And to share it with us,
I give you Mrs. Catherine D. Rodriguez, Teacher I of Hupi Elementary

*** We have a very strong support system because of our stakeholders. They
are here for us to help achieve the Department’s mission and vision. And to
give us their message of support, May I call on, in behalf of Hon. Mayor

deliver the message.

*** Another very supportive stakeholder that will give us their support is our
Vice Mayor, Hon. Medwin R. Manuel. Let’s give him resounding applause.
*** This time May I call on one of the Sangguniang Bayan Member and
Chairperson of the Committee on Education of our Municipality, Hon.
Rustico Q. Reynoso. A round of applause for him.
*** One of our stakeholders that is very supportive as always, May I call on
Hon. Mila Zulueta, Barangay Captain of Brgy. Landy, Santa Cruz to give her
message of support. Let’s give her a round of applause.
*** Our PTA is also very supportive to our goals. And to give their message of
support, May I call on the PTA President of Santa Cruz North Central
School, Mrs. Maribel Robles. Let’s give her a round of applause.

*** And to tell us one more interesting story, we have here today Mrs.
Rhodora C. Yambao, retired Public Schools District Supervisor. Let’s clap

We are now in the second part of our program. Bayanihan sa Pagbasa sa

Santa Cruz North Central School.
So, we have our booths ready for you children and young at heart. For we all
know that reading has no age requirement to explore and discover. You can
now have a tour and encounter with the Book Characters present in each
booth.

As we end this program, I am very thankful to be a part of this event. Thank
